Brycreem, a little dab'll do ya.
Brylcreem, you'll look so debonaire.
Brylcreem, the gals'll all pursue ya.
They'll love to run their fingers thru your hair.
I also used Vitalis for awhile, which was like putting Mazola oil in your hair.
Ahhhhh.... memories.....

Steve McQueenYou guys are starting to tell you age... Haha, still remember the theme song!?
steve McQueenI remember the commercial from when I was a kid,but I could never understand the part of the jingle that says "she'll love to run her fingers through your hair" She'd end up with a hand full of grease!
Yup, had a flattop with long sides combed back into a DA in the back around 1963. I was 11 or 12.
Brylcreem did not really make your hair greasy. It did at first, but it would dry and your hair would be more like it had not been washed in a few days. Yeah, I know, what's worse, greasy hair or dirty hair. regards, Rob
