Hi,

This is an very early CB92 aluminum gas tank, and it hasn't the plastic badges, but transfers.
gas-tank is from 1959 CB92. It's worth a lot of money, this is the second I have ever seen.

I think at Ebay, it will go up to 1200 USD, the last one I have seen selling was for 1400 euro.

Interesting rust marks for an aluminum tank, Jensen, old chap!

How about steel with plastic filler covering up the badge locations?

Yes,

It's a shame these days, even aluminum rusts,

-1 for being not sharp
