WinkersCA77's did not come with winkers so first of all you are adding something that is not correct and not really an original part. The domestic dreams (Japan) had winkers, but the parts are very rare and extremely expensive. I have spent a pile of hours researching how to put winkers on a Dream inexpensively and found mostly dead ends.
For winkers it depends on what you are trying to accomplish. There are kits out there that you can "bolt on" and which will let other drivers know you are planning to turn. Most I have seen are of a more modern style. They would get the job done, but I think will look sort of out of place on a Dream. For most kits ( I bought one for $59 I think) you are also adding extra bulbs into an electrical system that barely keeps up on a good day. There are probably complete LED kits as well (though I haven't looked for them), but they would still look too modern at least for my tastes. There's a seller on e-bay that goes by "thegreatrandolfo" or something like that. He has some pretty neat chromed period-correct-looking lights and mounting brackets. He sells sets that are red/back and amber/front. I bought the rear lights and they are not too pricey for the quality, but you are adding 12v filament bulbs again. I am working on winkers that will look very close to the correct Honda domestic system but will use LED bulbs and flasher so as not to tax the electrical system. I think they will be brighter than standard filament bulbs as well. Regardless of what your light/lens combo looks like externally, the inernals will be needed. The wiring for winkers is not in the CA77 harness so you have to create that or buy a very expensive wiring harness. You will also need a relay, but that is not a big deal because it is hidden so it doesn't matter what it looks like. You will also need a switch on the handle bars. If you want period correct, the toughest part is probablym that switch. I want something that looks at least period correct and close to the genuine Honda switch if I can get there, but have not solved this part yet. The real deal Honda switch is extremely rare a very expensive if you do find one. So, what kind of winkers are you looking for? winkersthanks alot for the reply on my turn signal dilema. Maybe it would be just as easy to use hand signals but in the summer up here in northern michigan our population grows ten fold with nothing but bad drivers and I am looking out for number one so i guess all the I can get . But as far as what type i really dont know yet seeing i have only had my dream for a little over a month, what type would be better, Thanks again for replying to my post

I know the throttle tube has to fit in it. Some switches from other models look like they might work okay with the throttle tube, but a hole would have to be drill in the botttom half to put the horn switch in. Anybody ever find an inexpensive and available alternative that can be made to work??
