Anyone think this might work on a 1964 CA77 looks like to me one could mod some brackets to make it work

I have an S90, and it's about half the width of a CA77

make your own, then do it yourself zinc plate em. there is an article on this forum you can find if you search "zinc plate yourself" or something of that nature.

I thought about that but can you do it in your bathtub?
this is rather a large item LOL.
I watched that article and like the results for small items.
Also the zinc plate don't look as smooth as chrome.
I going to have to try small samples first and see if it will buff up.
I have a power supply and most of the items needed. Time to play.

I'd buy a big tote bin from walmart and fill'er up. i'd probably try to make sure that the bars were connected to the power source in several places to get solid distribution. but yeah, experiment on a few scraps and pipes first.
the zinc should polish up very nice if you are starting with a good prepped surface, and it will be much more rust resistant. beside, this guy will probably find the asphalt and rock dings at some point or other. tough is good.
