cl77 gas tank differences

thanks for all the info guys! I think I'll go with the tank that doesn't have the crossover. My rides are usually short enough I don't think I'd run out of gas. You think doing a wheelie on a cl77 is bad, if you get motorcycle classics magazine, look at the parting shot on the back page. Dudes ramping panhead rigid frame harleys in the fifties. Now that has to hurt! My location is north vernon Indiana.

Why not just clamp the gas line with a pair of small vise grips on the left side and just turn off the gas and be done with it?

A flaw in that one, Charlie. The spigot on the petcock is pre-cock, not post-cock. It can't be shut off.
