taipered bearings for CB77 superhawk

Post by chrisnoel » Sun Oct 17, 2010 9:34 pm

Started searching for taipered bearings and I think I'm getting someplace but I wanted to ask if anyone has done the same as I'm planing before I spend the money. www.allballsracing.com has a set of bearings ,part # 22-1011 that fits a bunch of Honda models like the CB750, 450, and 350's as early as 1968. They have the same dimensions for races as the stock roached set I removed but has anyone tried them?

Yes, a lot of members have used that kit, and it fits nicely. Do a search, and you will surely gain some insight on what washer configuration to use.

Thanks for the confirmation. My verineer calipers aren't too bad but I was off by .5mm on the top cup outer diameter so the operator error is always a concern. I'm talking to Eric at allballsracing.com and I'll let him know that several of us have used the kit if he would like to add the CB77 to the list for the kit.

Any other models I should include? He may not take my info seriously but it's woth a shot.
