Source for engine hoses

Post by sstaylor » Wed Jul 19, 2006 1:21 pm

All,

I am looking for suggestions on sources for replacement engine hoses. I need both fuel and vent hoses for my '68 CB77. Just wanted to ask before I ran down to the local auto parts chain. I'd also be interested in any recommendations as to the correct type of hose to use for specific application on this bike, beyond fuel line for fuel and vinyl for vent.

TIA,
Scott

Scott,
Ohio Cycle has the correct fuel hose and tiny hose clips. I used black drip irrigation tubing from the local hardware store for the vent hose, it was a little tight fitting over the barbed connectors, but by soaking the ends in hot water it worked fine.

Randall,

Thanks for the info. I checked at Advance Auto and found fuel and vent lines that should work for me ($0.25 a ft). If not, I'll hit Ohio Cycle.

Scott
