Hi new here.
Know this is 305 forum but figure you know answers.
Have a set of 71 CB350 forks, identified. Funny I picked that model soon as I saw the chrome covers on top of the slider tube.
Have them apart now, took a while to figure out the slotted washer lock nut under the chrome cap nut, fooled 2 of us.
Down to the dampers (alloy, valve guide looking things, which appear braized into a tin tube with the rods sticking out) and one of them valves is a bit sticky (have rinsed them out).
CAN YOU DISSASSEMBLE THEM?
Also how much fork oil goes in em please?
Don't ask bout the rest of the bike, these are going on a 53 AJS.
72 350 forksHi, thanks, yes, have them completely apart.
Except for inner damper assembly, the 2 piece tube (alloy lower that that allen bolt screws into with a pressed into metal upper) with the full length sliding rod and what I presume is the valve inside. This is the part I would like to seperate and see why it jams.
