just installed side stand now muffler will not fit any idea what to do next 1968 super hawk 305

Not enough info. Stock muffler? Sidestand from? Pics would be helpful as well.

I'm interested in this aswell. I have been looking for one, but don't really want to justify spending the big $$$ on on yet!

Is the kickstand NOS, restored original or is it from Taiwan?

I probably won't have much feedback on the issue but I would imagine that info would help others troubleshoot.

Yes, photos please. There should be no reason why the sidestand would impede the muffler's re-fitting.

I bought a re-manufactured one from Thailand (I also have an OEM which I'm getting re-chromed) and I had to get the bracket re-worked to stow the prop correctly, but the muffler went back on OK with the prop down; it just hit the muffler too early when stowing 'up' before.
