Bob,
I wanted to do the fall giro in the worst way. It is near my summer place so it would have been a "non-trip" event for me. Plus that area is a great riding area. But, my 40th highschool reunion is that same weekend and I'm on the planning committee. We selected the date before the fall giro date for 2010 had been set.
That Italian Stallion will get a workout at that giro. There is no shortage of hills out there.
regards,
Rob

Rob,
Several years ago, my wife and I attended the Watkins Glen BMW rally, and we brought out my 1968 BMW R69S to cruise around on. The roads are perfect for an old bike, as we visited the Curtiss Air Museum in Hammondsport, several wineries, and we spent an entire afternoon at the Corning Glass Museum. As you already know the 'Giro is the best excuse to ride old small bikes with like minded souls, and the 305 is a perfect mount. I did my first 'Giro in Vermont in '08 on a 50cc Suzuki. I got to see alot of the Green Mountains around Mt. Snow at a very, um, leisurely pace! I was the only 65cc class bike to finish that event. I will always have a 'Giro eligible mount in my stable. Enjoy your class reunion, and we'll see you at another 'Giro. Regards, Bob B
