Oh, all that mechanical injection back then is neat to look at and to say you have it. Junk to use.

Mr Spooge, I must have missed that request. What exactly were you looking for?

I checked all 7 of your posts and didn't see what you had asked for. Or did someone else ask for something that I didn't catch?

crn

Same bike.

Yanno, the request where I told you I'd consider visiting since you're close and offered to screw me together a fast 77?

"crn" ? babelfish could not translate that one for me.

"yanno" . I finally worked out that phonetic spelling.

"close" I'm close to WI and you are in TN. I guess it's all relative.

I think you mistake me for someone else, but I can build you a fast CB77 if you want one. How fast can you afford to go?

Trans - stock, 2x3, CR 4 speed, 5 speed Nova or 6 speed custom?

Primary drive - stock, duplex or gear?

Clutch - dry or wet?

Crank, 50mm or 54mm?

Frame - stock, lightened and stiffened stock or Chrome Moly?

Forks - Stock, GL11100, Ceriani, Maxton 20mm cartridge conversion?

Brakes - stock, modified stock, Ceriani/Fontana replica or RC162 replica?

Tank - stock, GRP, CF or Aluminum?

Carbs - stock 26mm, CB750 28mm, or CR31 Specials?

Head - squish band or not?

Tick the boxes, send in the deposit and sit back and wait. :-)

Uh, yeah

That is pretty much the same solicitation

Show me some pix including all the wicked cam stuff you talked about

And I also asked for some hard numbers on the bike your site claims you campaigned.

Of course I, or anyone would want to see upon receiving such an offer. Not that I require anyone to do engine work for me, but, for all I know, your shop makes mine look like a condemnable cave and I actually don't know a single soul that has built and raced a faster 77 than yours.

Now I have no clue who this guy is you told me builds these engines for 90k, that must be old mexican pesos?

Show me.

Dude, That's not a solicitation, it's a wish list. :-) I'm not making an offer to you or anyone else through this forum or any other. I have more than enough of my own unfinished projects.

I don't recall claiming that my race bike was the fastest on the planet, but I have been happy to spend time to share what I learned and I'm happy to assist almost anyone at the race track. I enjoy spending time with people I like, who want to learn.

Camshaft pictures are not very exciting. Just sticks with lumps - unless they have matching roller rockers and polydyne cam profiles. Those are interesting to look at.:-)

What exactly is your point? If you are doubting my word, then you don't know me. And if you don't know me, please refrain from casting aspersions.

If you know who I am, you can ask anyone old enough in Australian Classic racing to tell you about me. I served for a while on the MA eligibility Committee and was President of the HMRAV for a while (all a very long time ago). I have not raced there in a very long time.

In the last few years I have spent more time with two strokes from which I am continuing to learn.

If you are interested in the fastest, trickest, cleanest CB77 racers on the planet, talk to Jerry. What he charges to build one I know not. The $90K number came from Classic racer IIRC.

Anything else we can help you with this evening sir?
