CL 77 VIN

Post by lassenpct » Tue Apr 13, 2010 9:32 pm

Well, I recently found this site after purchasing a couple of CL 77 parts bikes and am considering if I should go forward with the restoration of one of them. I searched the internet and could not find a source on how to decode the VIN (CL77 1062308) and came up empty. Anyone out there that can point me to a site to decode the VIN? I've done a couple of vehicals but this is my first bike. I had a CL72 that I got new many years ago and have always regretted letting it go.
