strange side cover

Post by jensen » Tue Apr 13, 2010 5:02 am

Hi,

This side cover was attached to a CB72 '62, the hole seems to be original, or very well made.
Anyone any idea's or suggestions ?

Is it some kind of socket for auxiliary power? For a Police bike maybe? There seems to be a slot but it would be good to get a close-up. What does it look like on the back of the cover?

Hi Graham,

Yes, it seems to be some kind of socket, I won't be able to take pictures until the weekend,
but the quality of how it's done is high, but I think someone made it there, but it's crafted very nice,
