Copper sealing washers

Post by davomoto » Tue Dec 01, 2009 3:37 pm

Anyone have a good source for the 8mm copper sealing washers for the cylinder head covers? I usually use 10 per engine build, and have mined every spare engine I have and have finally run out! I'm sure Nick at Ohio has them, but I'm looking to purchase 100 or so.

Thanks in Advance, davomoto

McMaster Carr has them, and yes, they sell to anyone and no minimums!

Atdtools.com
I bought this kit #ATD-359.
They are standard sizes though , but the difference between 5/16 and 8m is very slight.
The 1/2 size fits the drain plug well and the price was decent.

Hi,

Almost all small stuff is still available from Honda.
Find the part number and try to order via a dealer.

Jensen, $1.50 each from dealer. I was looking for 100. That's $150 from the dealer. I've seen something close, $10.00 for 100, a bit better deal in my opinion.

Hi,

Yes, it's a better deal, and I pay for 6 mm rings (also original honda) here 0.17 euro, exl. taxes.
Maybe the prices there are a little higher ?
