Please forgive me for what may seem like a stupid question. I have been working on a CB77, and the starter was removed, with starter clutch innards in a box. All three of the screws holding it together were sheared off. I managed to get the broken pieces out, and I have ordered new screws, springs and caps, but I can't find a clear picture of how it goes back together. Do the springs go in the hole first, with the caps over them, or does the cap go in first, holding the spring in direct contact with the roller? It appears like the PO had the springs contacting the rollers, because they are either broken or badly worn, and the end of one of the caps is still stuck in the bottom of the hole. There are no signs of wear or scoring on the rollers, which I would expect to see if they were rubbing on the metal caps. I appreciate any help you could give me,
