Well I feel better. I'm going to attempt to weld it myself. It seems as though it is loose enough where I should do something with it. Thanks LM

Not loose any more

I used the center punch to tighten the rivets , then welded it one spot at a time and let it cool in between. I did'nt recall seeing a pic of this so I thought I'd put one up. It appeared to be the best place to weld. The curved sides of the sprocket base are closer to the chain.

As my Cam sprocket has been welded ->I do have this clicking sound when running; Should it be repaired? And how can you repair this?

Where exactly is this neoprene anyway? I don't see any evidence of it on my sprocket .

I don't know where it is, but I'm wondering too.

Well guys, I'm pretty sure the neoprene is on the Rivet/pin at which the advance weight rotates. I didnt dissasseble this area to confirm it ( fearing that I would do more damadge by removing the rivets) but I tend to believe the expert when he tells me it's in there. It appeared to be the only place it could be. That said , I'm still rookie status.
