Where can I get crankshaft bearing rollers?

Post by FiremanBob » Sun Oct 11, 2009 6:24 pm

When removing the crank yesterday I noticed there were only 19 rollers for the bearing on the right side - there are supposed to be 20.

Where can I get a new roller (I imagine they come in bags of 10 or 20, that's life)?

thanks.

I have a bag of big-end rollers (NOS) but I imagine the mains are different. I thing th ebig ends ar 4x11 or something similar.

Try a bearing supply house if you have one locally.

Who'd a thunk that a Honda would actually still have them? Fifty cents each, 3 business days to ship to the dealer. Just shows, I should have thought of the simplest solution first.

I did call three well-known bearing suppliers. They all said it would be very difficult unless I was buying a can of 10,000 rollers.
