special bung/ spanner wrench for the ca77 engine

Post by mandoknight » Sat Oct 03, 2009 3:47 pm

!st time here on the forum because I need help. On the Ca77 engine clutch side, in front of the clutch there is a shaft that hold a chain that also goes to the clutch baket. The nut on the shaft requires a special bung or spanner socket/ wrench. what was the honda part number for this tool or where to get it with the propper part number.

thanks
Chris

I use a 1/2 inch or 1 inch chisel which I have ground the working end to a 10 degree flat angle and a good size hammer and after moving the locking tab of the keeper washer I hammer the "special nut" from the shaft.
I install it the same way.
80 plus engines and never a problem.
I use the same tool at the cam sprocket.
Someday I may show pics. .............lm
