Greetings - Has anyone ever added Marvel Mystery Oil to their crankcase oil or added it to their gas tank?
I know this stuff has been around for a long time, but I don't really know much about it and was wondering if it actually was of any value?
Marvel Mystery Oil....
my father was a big believer in it and added it to everything from lawnmowers to airplanes. i add some to the gas in my hot rods and old hondas. not sure if it really helps but i have never had any problems with my CA77 since i bought it in 1973 , the carburetor and the motor have never been apart. and my `28 , `36 and `29 Fords with small block chevy engines run great
Marvel Mystery OilAll my six cylinder CBXs all ran great with about 2 oz per tank along with my Dodge Diesels. JMHO I put a little in my CL77s also.
I bought a car once that was smoking and after some checks I suspected it was from stuck rings. Added some Marvel Mystery Oil to the oil and squited some in the cylinders and in less than forty miles no more smoking. Had the car for four years with no problems. Another good use for the oil is in your air tools. Just put a squirt in where you connect the air hose, it displaces any moisture and lubricates the tool. CliffC
