Didn't anyone tell you that Honda's are built under the metric system? :P

It's more the liner's I'm interested in. Although you can't pull the liner out, you can tell if there's a step by measuring the O.D. of the liner on the upper face (where the cyliner sits), then comparing it to the lower O.D. as measured where the liners hang below the barrel.......

If the pistons are in good condition, you may have to get the ring groove modified to take a normal-type uper ring........

Hi Donjp

Assuming that the kit is a full 350cc then won't a set of std pistons from a CB350 do ?
I have a friend here in the UK who had a new set of 64mm liners made and ran them with
these in a CB77 .. no issues with gudgeon ( wrist ? ) pins etc., all just dropped on.
May be a drop in compression compared with the pistons you have but a lot better availability
inc oversizes.

I have gone down the same road and got pistons from US Ebay inc rings etc., for @$50
but haven't opened out the crankcases yet.

cheers

Phil

Rob, the top of liners has a lip, that sets into cyl. The liners fall out after heating in the oven, 200 degrees for about 20 minutes usually does the trick.
