Spares acquisitions

G-mate,

My parts have been eBayed mostly from the US, some from Asia, odds & sods from UK and one or two from northern Europe. I've not seen a single vintage Honda item during ebay.es searches! The Forum has a member near Girona (Catalunya, northern Spain) with a lovely old ex-departmento de bomberos (tr: pumpers dept = fire dept) CA77, but that's about it. I think I have the only CB in Majorca -- maybe even the Balearics or, even, the whole of Spain, so parts of any description just don't appear to exist here.

Most UK eBayers are closed-minded about shipping abroad, but can sometimes be cajoled; those of a similar mindset in the US cannot usually be swayed as they either can't be bothered filling out one extra piece of paper or have "had a bad experience" (wotaloadabollox) which, I think, is another 'can't be bothered' excuse!

Ed Moore (LOUD MOUSE) and Fred Koren (FASTFRED), to name but two here on The Forum, have parts that they're sometimes happy to liquidate; you'll need to PM them and state what you're in need of. Ed has practically everything, several times over(!), whilst Fred seems to specialise (that's 'specialise', not 'specialize') in mainly internal components.

I'd suggest setting yourself up an ebay.com (US) account, especially as you spend half your working life there; as an ebay.co.uk user you won't be able to bid on some stuff owing to seller's restrictions.
