Starter sprocket stopper

Post by Wilf » Sun Feb 08, 2009 10:56 am

Can anyone tell me what the starter sprocket stopper (28116-259-010) does? Mine is missing on my CB77E-1001528 and I wonder what will happen if I don't replace it.
Thanks,
Wilf

The stopper keps the sprocket in place. The sprocket ahs an oil seal inside, and the outer rides inside the crank seal. Important little part! I probably have a spare. PM me if you need it.
