What the ?????e-bay
overly optimistic ebay sellersJust for fun I added up minimum bid prices on items offered from this funky bike...came to around $2,471. Wow. I hope this doesn't mean my bike is worth more now, in pieces, than it will be put together and running. I did notice somebody's taking a chance on one of the mufflers for a hundred bucks. Good luck! Maybe if nobody buys these guys will figure out they need to at least clean up bike and provide better photos and descriptions and more reasonable starting bids. I noticed similar problem with 'big footed" guys last week. Nobody bought any of their stuff, either, which I guess proves the market does work.
Looks like he sold the front fender for half his BiN price (but still twice what it's probably really worth, considering the state of it!).
I was considering the that motocycleparts-inc had perhaps just been naïve about the value of the stuff he's offering; but, having read his responses to 'complaints' about his pricing policy, I think he's possibly an escapee from an asylum and should be given a wide berth! http://contact.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e ... uestion_VI The lack of bids for stuff that some of us need just says it all...... A Republican businessman? His ad states the CB77 is a single carb machine. (Ahem.)
So........ how did "Our old buddy" do with his almost new Honda parts auctions, is he retired yet. I get the felling some on eBay think 305'ers we will buy anything at any price. May come a time to prove something to some of those folks, especially the ones in Japan and Thailand with their "BIN" prices.

I've been watching his overpriced shite with disinterest; I think some of it is on its 3rd re-list -- this time the starting- and BiN-prices have come down but still nowhere near realism. The guy is delusional.
I agree with your obs, rgt; I posted, some time back, that we should also be boycotting the Asian p155-takers. Unless, of course, they see the errors of their ways and price their stuff more realistically.
