Coincidental that I was just looking this stuff up yesterday.

Hagon site:
http://www.hagon-shocks.co.uk/main1st.htm

Picture of shocks from that site:

2nd from right looks like it is styled for a CL or CB, and their application list shows their part number 31003 to be used for Honda "CL 305" which sounds right, anyway. They show a part number 31028 to be used for a CB72, but no mention of a CB77. Same shock used on CB72 and CB77?

The shock shown has black on top and bottom, but if you want, it sounds like they would do a custom in chrome.

Group buy time? ;)

(I came back to edit this post to include CB info. Sorry, I tend to get CL-centric, e'en tho I'd love to own a CB, too. The CB shocks look similar, but a little longer than the CLs, by my eye.)

I'll probably buy the CB ones, happy to post pics etc when i get them. My wheels are in for new rims, spokes, tyres and polishing so my VISA has to recover slightly before I buy these, so probably in around 2 weeks.

Are you guys referring to these read shocks sold by: ooo-yez? I just received them via eBay, but I haven't thrown them on yet. Are they as bad as everyone is saying they are? And if so, worth being burned the $100 in back and forth shipping to return for the Hagons?

Hey Scott, they fit ok if you follow my post earlier in this thread; and they work and look alright, even if they're not correct. It does sound like a gaggle of geese on a fly-past, though, when you sit on the bike after it's been stood for a spell! Cheap enough, though.

Are you saying they can be squeaky?

Not so much 'squeaky'; more like a kid with a harmonica! But so were my OEMs..... and my mate's OEM CA72 ones are.
