I used POR15 on my tank and it worked out really well I think. I know the sealer that dripped out of the petcock holes on the board I had the tank on cured up really thick and tough. I can only assume it did the same thing inside the tank.

Not sure how to tell you to get the old Kreem out though.

I just finished doing my CL77 tank with POR15 sealer, and it looks great. Don't have any gas in yet, just did it 3 days ago, and they recommend a week to cure. I have also done many of my Dietz lantern founts. Since I needed to use it up, I also just did an old army jerry can I had lying around.

Handy stuff!

kreem recommends acetone or mek for removal.
