Thank you all for the help! I followed all of the suggestions with a new gasket and torqued to 18Nm. The Scrambler runs with no leaks! I have a very minor fuel weep from the carburetors, but that should be an easy fix. I'm very happy to not have to pull the engine again...

'64 CA77 After a rebuilt engine with new gaskets you should go through heat cycles re torquing the head each time. Run the engine to temp then shut it off, let it cool overnight. Break each nut then retorque to spec. Do this 2 or 3 times and you should be good. It’s a pain but I’ve never had a head/cylinder leak doing it this way. Good luck.
