Would damage occure if I was to flush oil resivore with kerosene or deisel?

I assume you mean while still assembled in running condition. I have done so in the past on many different engines. I ussually add a solvent of your choice to the oil. Drain some off before hand if you choose. I prefer not to exceed 25% dilution. I only run at idle for 10-15 min , then allow to thoroughly drain. Clean out the filter after draining.

To answer your question. If done wrong yes it sure could.
