C77E inquiry

Post by undas_06 » Thu Sep 26, 2013 8:58 pm

Hi Honda guys,

I'm new here and just got hooked with hondas 2 weeks ago. I have a sweet deal with my 1968 austin mini van - a guy paid me some cash and give his hondas (dream 250, dream 350, xl100 and cl90 plus a gilera giubileo 175cc)

I'm a bit confused with my engine number C77E-1002325 - is this for dream 350? or 305? im confused..

Thanks!

Adrian from philippines - (newbie for hondas)[/img]

Adrian

Nice haul!

The bigger Dream left the factory as a 305 but some people enlarged them to 350 which requires a fair bit of machining.

Looks like you have the beginnings of a good fleet...

Thanks Gman! SO it is confirmed that this C77E engine number is a 305?..

By the way here's my CL90, starting dismantling the parts and hopefully tomorrow we can start to paint the frame and the swing arm. If the weather permits..

Yes C77 or CB77 or CA77 is a 305 CC engine. If you look at the front of the cylinder it is marked "305".

305 Haul

Post by hondadreamca77 » Fri Sep 27, 2013 5:11 pm

Great haul....love the VW bug, by the bullet turn signals is it a split or oval window?

I worked many a day on those air cooled engines....almost as much fun as HONDA motorcycles.
