Paint Removal from Chrome

Post by quidger » Mon Sep 10, 2012 6:23 pm

Spray paint from PO on the front rim.

Best way to remove spray paint without damaging the chrome.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks.

Quidger, try to put some lacquer thinner on a rag and start wiping. Usually, this works, if not, get some liquid paint remover and try that. The paint remover usually makes a big mess but will mostly wash off with water. If you have a pressure washer, after the paint remover, blast the rim with the pressure washer. Hopefully this will work for you.
