CB72 Chainguard mounting question

When properly mounted, does the chainguard &quot;straddle&quot; the back part of the engine sidecase, or does the sidecase go on the outside of the chainguard?<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Mike

The front is sort of &quot;in&quot; the rear engine area where the Kick Cover and the small Filler Cover is over the drive chain. ............LM
