Dowel for main bearing?

Post by OldStan » Tue Nov 02, 2010 2:02 pm

when I split my cases there were dowels for the roller bearings in the upper case, but no dowel for the ball bearing (left end of crankshaft.) I see a hole in the upper case and in the bearing, so I'm assuming there should be one, but I haven't seen it in any of the parts list I've found. Anyone have a part number and/or size?

I figured it out. It's the same dowel (knock pin) as the transmission shafts use, 90705-259-020 , 7mm x 12mm.
