CA77 head on CB/CL bottom end?

Post by 305racer » Wed Oct 27, 2010 10:40 pm

Anyone ever run a CA77 single carb head on a 180degree CB/CL lower end? I know that the CA has different cam profiles(yes I know the cams are keyed differently as well),smaller valves and longer ign. advance weights which all seem like plus' for my enduro racer project. Just curious if anyone has any first hand experience with this setup?

hello george

I guess the c77 head fit in cb77, the only advantage is the single
carburetor (may be more economical and easy to adjust)
the camshaft and the advance system must remain those of cb77
they fit the head of series c
I see no overall benefit exept a loss of power

bonjour george

amicalement , mike
