Crankshaft Lock Nut Tool

Post by Ilbikes » Mon Jun 07, 2010 10:03 pm

I recently asked if anyone had a part# or source for the Honda tool to remove/install the 20mm lock-nut. Mine was damaged with removal, so I bought a new nut and just had to have the "right" tool to install it. We took an old, retired 13/16" socket and welded key stock to it to form the teeth. I now have a 1/2 drive socket to install/remove the nut without damage.

Here is a KS tool for my Black Bomber and the homemade tool for the CL77.

Gordon,
I must admit, You're a pretty clever guy. I may use this one myself. Thanks for the post of a very good solution to your needs. Sure would save a lot of dings on those nuts and we just can't have dings on our nuts now can we? RW
