Need Part Number for Crankshaft 20mm Socket

Post by Ilbikes » Sun Apr 25, 2010 11:31 am

Guys, I cannot find the part number for the large 4-tooth 20mm sprocket needed to remove the crankshaft sprocket nut. I have a new one I bought for the Black Bomber, but this one is much larger.

Thanks,
Gordon

Nope, won't do that. There is a proper torque and a proper tool. I want both. I would make one from a metric socket if I can't find the factory tool.

Thanks,
Gordon

looks like you might want to go ahead and manufacture one. my shop manual shows a "4 prong special tool" but it is a t-handle affair tightened with a hammer with no apparent way to measure torque value.

im sure someone has a better answer than me.

I'll get a pic of the tool I use for this nut and the cam sprocket nut.
Will try to get it on tomorrow. .....lm

Hi,

PN number is 1700113 according to the Honda tool book 2nd edition, printed in 1971
I ordered this part in the past, but where not available anymore,

if you have access to a lathe and mill it would be easy to make one , or modify an old socket to work
