Big bore head gasket

Post by Buck » Wed Mar 25, 2009 4:48 pm

I have located some 63mm pistons for the 305 Hondas and would like to use them but need a head gasket to use with these. Anybody have a source for these oversize head gasket?

Try this guy. Auction has ended, but nobody bought it. there's also a guy selling copper head gaskets on ebay, also a good way to go.

I've had good luck with Cometic for custom applications. They may or may not seem pricey, I never compared, because it was always for some non standard application.

Check my post under this topic from Jan. 18, 2008 on Overaize Bore Head Gaskets for the info on ordering from Cometic. Regards, Chase

The pistons were in a truck load of parts I bought. They are ART pistons and marked 3.00.So no they are not 185 pistons. Thanks

Buck, I have 2 sets of those same pistons. They come up on Ebay from time to time. I have a cylinder, and the 3.00 pistons out at the machine shop . I need rings for the second set, let me know if you have a spare set of 3.00 rings.
