Putting it all back together

Post by 68Cb77 » Tue May 27, 2008 12:02 am

So I'm starting to put the engine back together. I only re-did the top end (New 1st over pistons, valve job). But I'm wondering, I had to put a new lower cam roller in because it was missing a few chunks, and want to know if I should flush the engine out a bit. I am going to take out the oil pump, and look for chunks of rubber, but do I need to do more? Can I flush anything through the engine? Or is that a bad idea? thanks<john>
