Re: kickstart setupSorry to highjack your thread, but, I have just instaled a new kick start lever on my 1963 cb72, after it is started it will not stay in the up position and makes a funny noise when in nuetral. Any help is appriciated in advance.

Re: Kickstart setup -- still wonderingOn the Scrambler you turn the KS shaft clockwise to stop. Lube the splines (white grease) and locate the KS lever at 12:00 and slide cover on. Now with the KS lever turned in it MUST index at 11:00 because if it's more toward 12:00/1:00 you will hit the internal stop and twist the splined end off the KS shaft. .........................lm
