CA77 Crankshaft Ball Bearing.. Which One?

The bearing comes off the shaft.
Nothing more. ......lm

Ok, I got it off. It was on there real tight. I put a rod thru all 4 weight holes against the outer race and tapped it with the hammer then moved to the other set of holes and tapped the race there, back and forth a bunch of times and slowly it moved off.

The early one! Has the deep hole for the locater dowel. (cheaper) Or ya can change the dowel. .............lm

Just a heads up.....

I did buy the cheaper one (91001-259-010) NACHI 6306S7HS, and it is smaller in OD (74.97mm) and has a -shallower- hole (1.92mm) for the locater dowel. This was a NOS Honda bearing from Honda.

The one I had in my motor is a NACHI 6306S6HS, measures 76.95mm in OD, and has a hole depth of 2.76mm hole. I'm assuming the one I should have ordered is the 91001-259-020 ?

Anyhow, just wanted to put the word out that there is also a difference in the OD between these two bearings. Too much to fill with HondaBond?? :-)

NACHI 6306S6HS = 91001-259-020

I have learned the 010 is for early DREAM engines and 020 for most others after the early DREAM engines. ..............lm
