Nander, I wanted to stay as close as possible to stock Honda parts in this engine for reliability considerations but I love to tweak things so I went with the CA pistons to bump the compression a little and give it a little more uumpah!
Do a Forum search for "CA77 pistons" you'll be able to read what made me decide to do it that way.

I've been thinking about posting the guide I put together to work on my engine and I've decided not to do it for reasons explained below.
Since I joined the 305 Forum last spring I've been printing posts about stuff I am interested in or knew I would need without regard for who the author was since it was intended for my personal use. Consequently the printed posts I used to create my guide don't necessarily have the author attached to them. I don't want to reprint any posts without acknowleging the authors and frankly, I don't feel like going back and finding them.
The other reason is personal but I think it would be presumtuous of me to reprint a collection of posts that have been provided by the members who are so generous with their time and expertise when they are readily available to anyone who can search the Forum.
With that said..... I'm putting together a short "guide to making a guide" that I'll post in a separate thread soon. Hopefully it will help someone who is new to 305's and/or might not be able to find what they need to make their own guide.
With apoligies for reniging, this works better for me.

Maybe just create two topics and get them stickied.. "Tips for disassembling", "Tips for assembly" .. each one could have a list of tips with very short descriptions and links to where the nuggets are found in the forum. They wouldn't have the full text of the tips, just links to where the original discussion took place. If you don't have the links just post up the title and description and others like me can search around and find where the original discussion took place in the forum.
