Hi,
To compare even better, I put both cracks in the same size photo's.
It seems that both "cracks" are almost identical, some sort of footprint from the mould.
I tested this crack in the morning, and it's not really a crack, more a open surface, well, as I'm not a specialist on old aluminum -zinc alloy castings, I will see what the metallurgist says about it, I'll speak him this week.
in the mean time I'll check my other crankcases, from both CB72's and C's to see weather these casings have the same "crack".
