Hey, kustom and all others, thanks !! I have the rotor off. The correct bolt is 16mm-with a 1.5 mm. thread pitch. This, I am told, is a fine thread, and may not be stocked everywhere ( as in not stocked anywhere !) I finally ended up at Sanders Indiana Hardware, in Valparaiso, IN. a wholesale fastener supplier. ( I went to high school with the Sanders kids and had a good time catching up.) I got a bolt that is 2 in OAL and that seems to be just right for getting the rotor all the way off. (Takes a 24 mm. wrench just FYI.) The advice about watching for loose pieces from the starter clutch is good advice. I would have lost a roller if I hadnt been aware of this. Thanks for all the advice,

PS:Yes,
my bike is in bags, and they are marked with a sharpie pen. Anything thats in a "stack" as in gears, bearings, thrust washers, is cable tied together in the order that they go in. I have learned these things the hard way.
