Yeah, after looking at that more, I realized there's nothing close to what we have but hoped they had more sections. My brother's CB175 has a similar problem with his Keyster needles versus stock. He can just hold them next to each other and notice the differences!

The only difference I can detect is the width of the circlip slots.
Brewsky,

Thanks again for posting those pics. Today I tried to solve a problem and I was afraid I had a pair of Keyster needles in my carbs. But based on your pics, they are Keihin needles. Circlip slot width and the steps just above the straight section match what I have.

No numbers on mine, though. Bike is a '67 CL77.

Rob

The HONDA needles installed in the CL77 carbs will not have numbers. ..........lm

LM, I have several sets of CB/CL carbs - at least that what they came from and most needles appear to be 24231 but I have a pair of 24304 and two claiming to be 24001 but I'd need to double check that number.

I thought the pair marked 24304 were from a CL but from your posting I wonder if they are from a different year of CB.

Do you have a list of which needles were in which years/carbs? Thx.

Ya do have CB and CL needles.
My statement would be more correct had I said the Later CL Carb. Needles didn't have numbers. (66/67??)
I have numbered needles from these carbs and the numbers are different than those listed in some publications?????????????????. ............lm

So update time...

...I'm having a blast. I found a set of NOS needles in the Netherlands and they came in something like 8 days to California-- NOT BAD! I put them in, 2nd notch from the bottom. Still a bit rich, but is perfect for snapping on the throttle, maybe just a bit smelly holding 1/2-3/4 throttle. I'd say the full throttle is still a bit lean on the Keyster 130 jets and would love some 132/135 Keihins but NOBODY HAS THE RIGHT ONES! Regardless, the bike runs very well. Had it up at 95mph yesterday with it getting a bit asthmatic on full throttle (so most of it was just under full to keep it rich).

My only problem now is that the bike's charging system isn't doing anything with the headlight on-- even with the upgraded rectifier and stator! Oh well, it's an electric bike currently and needs a charge every 150 miles or so. Either way, I'm very happy, having fun, getting lost of attention!

Thanks for all the help, if anybody knows a good place to get me some 132 or 135 main jets, let me know!

...the last time I let my brother "try out" my Superhawk!!!...

So I took a better look at my old Keyster jet needles. I kept having issues seeing more black smoke out of the left exhaust pipe than the right. Here's the reason why:

Those came in the same kit and have all the same markings on them. Buy the real stuff next time!!!

On that note, still looking for stock-style Keihin 132 and/or 135 main jets for my bike! Anybody have any or know where I can get them?!?
