I think it means set the normal .004 valve lash then as the Intake valve lifts 1.1mm off its seat the degree wheel on the crank will have rotated to 10 degrees Before Top Dead Center that the intake valve opens. Then again @ 1.1mm off the seat before it closes it should read 25 degrees After Bottom Dead Center that the Intake valve closes. ( My book reads - Intake opens 10 deg. BTDC & closes 25 deg. ABDC )

If you PM me you email I can send more info.

Regards,
Tim

capellino's gear is a good idea. First ,I have to check again all points and try 1 tooth more.

I'll come back next month on the forum to give you last news....(my bike is in my workshop south of France near the seaside)

Thanks Tim
Clear,at least ! my manual book (CB72/77) says: intake open 5° BTDC and close 30°ABDC.and yours open 10°BTDC and close 25°ABDC.
Does it mean wrong datas or there are different camshafts, according series or year?perhaps just because the tolerance is + or- 5°...
anyway my measures have to be checked again to take into account of this" 1.1mm. "
thanks a lot Tim
regards
Cliquet
PS: I don't know how I can give you my email adress...tell me please
