Pistons 1/2 way out-Sleeve moved! OUT!

Well,,,,,,,,I put the "chunky" roller back in (I know) installed new pistons, rings, circlips and gasket, slipped the cylinder on and gonna bolt the head on tonight after the cam chain master link goes in.
I found it easier to lay the engine on it's left side to install piston 1 then on it's right side to install piston 2.

This "engine" hasn't run in decades, I just wanna make sure it does before spending any more $ on it.
