Thanks Teazer. There is quite a bit of work regarding crankcase breathing both internally and externally. Leaving for the National Titles in 3 weeks today and doing private testing tomorrow. We were rained out 2 weeks ago. All the best Jerry

Well, we finally got the to race the 250 Twingle last Saturday nite at Beaver Creek Speedway.

What a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The venue is a 1/5-mile hard clay short track, located just North of Huntsville, Alabama.

We opted to let the Steven, 33 younger and 33 pounds lighter, ride the 250. I rode the 63’ Harley 175 Hummer. Steven had never raced flat track and I had never raced period !!!!!

But WTH, not getting any younger.

After we chased a few ghost, (broken ignition wire, fuel flow problem, etc) the bike ran great. It’s torquey and very quick out of the turns.

We were hoping to run the 250 in a Vintage 250 twin class with other 60’s stuff, but there wasn’t enough entries, so we got to run against a Champion Framed XL250 and a Bultaco Astro 250.

I got lapped twice in the main event. The CL finished 3rd in the lead lap.

Still Grinnin’

Mark
