Matt, I'm sorry to hear about that. Unfortunately shitty service seems to be more common than I'd ever imagined in the motorcycle industry. The stories I've heard from fellow builders are sometimes unbelievable. Such laziness, selfishness, and general disregard for quality. As you now know yourself, I've also learned my lessons hoping to be the exception and get a deal. Live and learn.

A few I've learned the hard way.

1. If it's too good to be true, it prob is.
2. If you want a job done right, you gotta do it yourself. (if you have to go somewhere get at least two references first)
3. If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing right.
4. An ounce of prevention is worth a 10 tons of cure.

I know it seems like you're stuck in a dark cloud with this, but you'll get through it and you'll almost laugh it off once you've got a Superhawk you're tearing down the road with all it's i's dotted and t's crossed. Thanks for sharing your experiences so other don't have to make the same mistakes, and in his own words... Tom, can YOU go f**ck yourself!?
