Type 1 engine on a CA77

Post by Clifton5249 » Tue Mar 14, 2017 11:28 am

Has anyone rum across a CA77 with a Type 1 motor? The frame and engine number are about one hundred numbers a part. I have not been able to find out anything about CA77 with Type 1 engines, wondering if I have purchased a Frankenstein? Did not find out til I got home and found two coils and two sets of points. Any ideas out there?

Everything I've read says all CA77s were Type II.

How about some pics?

How many carbs?

My ca77 has Type 1 on the points cover, but it's fake news!
