Tachometer Cable Oil Seal?
Tachometer Cable Oil Seal?I'm trying to find out if and where I can get a new oil seal for the tachometer drive cable for my recently purchased CB72 Hawk. I have an EBay receipt for a new “Genuine Honda” cable that the previous owner installed and I understand that it should have come with a new seal but as the photo shows the one that’s there is old, cracked and worn. I don't see it anywhere in the parts manual that I have. Any help is appreciated.
If it is any help, I cured an oil leak from this location by placing a fibre washer between the cable and the housing. I did not have a seal like yours on my cable.
