Help!!!!

Post by Jimf » Sun Oct 27, 2013 7:13 pm

I have a 1965 Honda Dream 305. The Motor was stuck when I first got the bike. I managed to unstick it with some marvel mystery in the cylinder wall. It then stuck again and figured taking the motor down and pulling the top end off would be a good idea. I started pulling the exaust and other things off. I managed to get the chain off and then was not able to go any further. If there are any of you more technically inclined then me could you maybe lead me through the steps to take the motor off. I tried to get the kick start off. I managed to get the lever off but was unable to pull the shaft to get the side cover off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think that I am possibly more "technically inclined" than what you sound like, my advice would be to GET A SHOP MANUAL. then read it cover to cover. that's the first thing, then ask questions.
Good luck
