Does "no power" mean a bad wire, condenser, or coil, or could it be the points themselves?

The points were definitely open when I checked with my static test bulb. When both points are open I can just move the alligator clips from the left side points ("bright you know") to the right side points (nothing). To be sure I re-set the gap after filing, then fired the electric starter with the plugs out to check for spark, points were moving but no spark on the right side.

here, check it out - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvhUZ3iA ... e=youtu.be
FYI- my test light has a battery connected too, that's why the light is dim when I connect to the right side.

Ya, I guess there's no easy answer, time to pull out the multimeter and track down the problem.

Well I found the problem. Wire coming from the + terminal on the right side ignition coil broke at the connection, re-attached a new one with some fresh wire and it sparks again. I imagine it was making inconsistent contact causing the issue then finally came apart completely. I wasn't able to fire her up because my spark plug lead wire was so old it cracked when i was re-assembling, but hopefully that was thee problem!
